Challenge — WO has partnered with Lares Homes since 2015, first developing their brand before they had built a house. By 2024, Lares had secured its place as a premier luxury home builder, and needed a refreshed identity that reflected their excellence in a competitive market.

Strategy
Initially focused on the founding partners’ reputation, Lares evolved into an established brand with a strong portfolio. WO identified Lares’ dedication to client collaboration and perfection, crafting the brand positioning “The Way Home” to encapsulate the home-building journey.
Unlike competitors who emphasise the big picture, Lares’ new brand film highlights meticulous details and craftsmanship, showcased through time-lapsed photography accentuating architectural beauty, form and durability, designed to evoke desire without narration or calls to action.

Outcome
WO, in partnership with Carat, optimised advertising strategies, recommending the brand film’s rollout on BVOD and social media, increasing Pinterest activity, and discontinuing online display ads to maintain luxury status. The campaign also included print ads in SA Life and premium architectural publications.
While the campaign is still in its infancy, Lares Homes has already received an increase in inquiries.
